Unless it was me doing the guessing ! Even though I started the game in 2006, my friend and I were unaware at the time that the NC had been changed to a scatter weapon and so played by the old rules for a few months. I never did get the hang of estimating distances in metric...

No worries about it, 't was a case of "The Messenger Did it!`
GW won´t ever publish a new book for print. Armada is already out of print. Armada is now only available in the form of a pdf from the GW website. Some rules for official models have never been in a printed book (Craftworld Eldar, Terminus Est, AdMech, etc). So these new drafts will also be pdf only from the GW site.

Some people want Calgar to step aside in favor of Chuck Norris, as it's the only way Ultramarines can be even more uber. I suggest these people are suffering from inhaling paint fumes for too long.

I dunno, with the current Marine rules I have never lost against them accept my first breakthrough with my first ever FW Tau game. After that I won every single game against Marines. I killed Barges... I think I have exterminated two full chapters by now.

So, in your opinion, then, what is wrong with the current SM fleet? Is it that its not durable enough? Not enough firepower? Something else?

Why not? GW has done a decent job of letting SG slip from their fingers to let fan bases take over and help push the game forward. Bloobowl is a perfect example of this, with the NAF, their rules committee, recently brought out their updated rules of the game plus new teams, which GW said they support and made it official. BFG is going to get the same love I think.

Achem: not th best example, considering how GW has treated the NAF on occasion. That whole: "We refuse to approve any rules you submit if anyone markets any minis for BB but us!' was a bit heavy handed.
