Subscribed! Your green-fu is fantastic as always, but some of the 'nid bits look kind of slapped on. Perhaps try for a little "less is more"?

I've decided to leave the wings off - they looked like a cool idea when I first thought about it but looking at it over and over since I took pics it's become less desirable. Most people are also not convinced either which is definitely the way I think.

Some of the nid bits do look a bit "stuck" on but I think that will all unify better once I get some paint on it. I've been considering adding some extra greenstuffery to it to try and unify it a bit better, and the more I look at it, the more I realise it's at that point of balance that if I add anything wrong it will take it over the edge of the proper aesthetic. I know I COULD do something to improve it but like I say, it's so close that it's very difficult to find an appropriate addition/revision without ruining the effect. I think I'll just work toward painting it and that should unify everything that isn't fully cohesive.
