Ok. I think sisters of battle really need a plastic kit. but i heard they were actually working on that. The haircuts are atrocious on the metals. Even M isn't sporting one on her display hahaha

I really think every race's commanders should have plastic kits given the amount of options you can give them. Afaik necrons need plastics the most (should come with the new codex i'm sure!) Iirc, grey knights could use plastic kits just as much as anyone else!
Heck why doesn't GW just make EVERYTHING in plastic?

S'all fun and games until some no life troll master debates all over your space manz & ruins it for you

Even with current technology though, metal still holds more detail, which is good for special characters and leaders of armies (since they tend to be centerpieces).

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

but a lot of people prefer to have their own converted characters and leaders rather than have the same guy as everyone else.
it's just a lot harder with metal.

I would like to see a SM "veterans" kit, similar to the BA Death Company kit. Some cool bodies and the choice of backpack of JP and then a buch of power weapons and combi-weapons.

In that case, some kind of IG Special Weapons kit would be nice....I'd prefer not haveing to get emtal bits just to outfit my Veterans.

Easy, EVERYTHING. Plastic is fast approaching metal quality detail and god knows its a million times easier to work with from a conversion standpoint. The only bad part is that the models are so light, however putting pennies in the base of a model solves this problem nicely.

The Bloodthirster is due for a new kit but a metal one would be better than a plastic one, unless the metal one can also be made into another GD (I can see the KoS and Bloodthirster combined into one kit).

"Hello there, I am a $50 kit that has options for modeling all greater daemon, comes with 1 body and 3410983240289 heads."

Thats what we got from the Daemon Prince kit, and honestly I REALLY like it. Not only can I make a standard GW model in less than 10 minutes, I have enough parts left over to use in at least 5 more conversion projects.
