comes the day i will own him...sounds funny i guess..hmmm

and your right, besides having scouts without silenced weapons seems a bit dense to me...but thats 40k for you, hiding in the shadows and aiming the heavy bolter/rocketlauncher at some xenos...

there are no silence bolters apart from telion because in the background there are silence bolter rounds because its the round that makes the most sound. they are called Stalker Silenced Shells. so the silencer on the boltgun are not necessary.

The Imperium of Man is able to traverse the Warp with difficulty when their Emperor concentrates from his golden life support machine and lights the way. Unfortunately, because the Emperor has the attention span of the average 5-year-old Pokemon fanboy, this means that many an unfortunate Imperial ship has had the WTF WHERE'D THE LIGHTS GO experience, which in the Warp is invariably fatal.

jep, understand that but its supporting the fluff i think rather well. if i was a scout in any army i wouldn´t want to make any noise at all...so having a heavy bolter would be out of the question...and besides they do look more fulfilling the rule of cool with a silencer...

Well, seeing as a bolter round is merely a 75 caliber rocket, I wouldn't want to have my hand around the magazine holding 10 of those things. Also, a silencer on the barrel of a bolter would end up as a barrel extension, since the bolt is self-propelled.

(basis of rocket theory, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bolter)
