What really blows my mind is the 5 day timeline. The planning, research, organization and tightness of technique involved... inspiring. Really inspiring. I would PAY for a vid of your airbrush techniques, order of steps etc. If I were you I would consider contacting one of the mini-vid companies or possibly doing one yourself!

Hell, I would hire you in a second if I was them!

Congrats man! I didn't realize the owner was on the thread (just saw the pics and went straight to posting). That's the way a commision should go. I am one picky son of a bitch too, don't think I'm easy to impress lol! Looking at their previous work, you can see their technique evolving over the last few armies, but this one in particular hit a crescendo of not only improved layering and attention to detail vs their previous efforts, but also an army perfectly suited to their techniques.

Big win for both, happy for you guys!

I'm also really picky. I was nervous about using a new commission artist, but Next Level really showed me what they're capable of with this army. Wonderful stuff.

I have also commissioned the same studio to do terrain too! Pictures should be up shortly, but that stuff looks really good as well.

Your work is brilliant. The colors you chose, the tones, all great! I especially love the bright colors you added to the skin and organic areas. Your defiler/grinder looks magnificent and is definately the centerpiece of the army. Simply fantastic work!

Really nice. I personally think FW is the only way to go for a nurgle army.

The banner on the back of that FW dread is fragile as all hell. Be really careful with it if you get it, because if it breaks... it's insane trying to fix it. The pole holding up the banner is really skinny, and it doesn't hold up well to glue if it breaks.

The Plague Hulk (counts-as Defiler) is an awesome and robust model though, and it looks cool as can be.

Really great paint job, looking fething incredible. I can't find anything wrong....well...

I'm sorry, it's the Nurgle Daemon Prince's wings. They are too neat! You should have gone with the Zombie Dragon wings or the Winged Nightmare! That's seriously my only nitpick!

Other than that, amazing, and in 100th the time I'd take me to do a third of that ability.

The wings look really boss up close.

They are a little "neat" but they really do look great IRL.

those wings are the actual chaos demon prince wings, least amount of head ache to green stuff into position.

but i guess they could be more undead

With skills like this, I bet Next-Level could make scratch wings as good as any that a company makes.

possible, some people use the carrions wings from fantasy...a little small for my taste.

I like the wings that are on there. They're proportionate and they look great.

I originally thought that too, and I was worried about it until I saw them in person. The contrast is just right, and it looks pretty fantastic.
