Plastic mordians or valhallans please! Mordians due to then they can be converted into cost effective conversion Praetorian guard. So its 2 armies for one sprue set. And Valhallans as an army of metal guard infantry wall is going be heavy to carry.

A guard stater focusing on armor would be cool. A techpriest, 20 guardsmen, 2 chimeras, and 2 leman russes with a commisar for HQ choice.

The Imperium using advanced technology is like drinking Pepsi out of a Coke bottle.

It discourages the relatively minor percentage of more established gamers who don't have a SM force from buying it, but as the title says its a 'starter set', its not aimed at veterans, its not aimed at people who have been in the hobby for a few years, its aimed at newbies and it works very well. SM marines will always be in the starter set as long as they remain the biggest money maker for GW.

and no enemy, thats way to much to put in a starter set, the tanks alone would outstrip the cost of it,

Relictors: 1500pts

its safe to say that relictors are the greatest army a man , nay human can own.

They keep jacking up the price of AOBR anyway. First $60, then $80, now $96...

I'm lucky the guy that runs the shop I go to stocks up, he gets a bunch while they're still cheap so the price changes don't affect as much.
