Good battle report. I definitely enjoyed it.

As for your list...21 kill points??? So many. It's just a little too min-maxy for my tastes. I know people swear by razor spam, but you are at such a disadvantage in a KP game against anyone who has some nice anti armor potential.

The Necron list was interesting. I think the really effective ones either mass Wraiths or Destroyers. I personally like the Destroyers. A Deceiver would have helped as well. To be honest, I don't consider his list to be a competitive one. And it managed to stick in the game because of your massive amounts of soft kill points. Just some food for thought.

Again though, great rep and win.

Re-roll is cool, but furious charge too? I don't know too much about B.T TBH.

There may have been more Warriors than I put down. The list did seem a bit short to me. I remember killing the unit which came through the Monolith, which a few models got backup and joined another. Then there was another two squads behind that, so four in total. Looking back at the report I put he only had three. I'm sure my opponent took a 2k list somewhere along the line as he's not that dumb

No, no furious charge but I was just saying that BA isn't the only army worth taking power weapons for. Just that vow gives preferred enemy to BT in CC against whatever army they're up against, and believe me it's a pain.

I figured that you possibly forgot a unit or something, I was just adding it up because it seemed a bit thin for 2000 points. All in all though, a good batrep but a bad choice of a list for your friend IMHO.

Like I said re-rolls are cool but still need 4+ to hit. Furious charge is better with B.T can get too

TBH when I wrote it I thought that but looking back I killed a unit of Warriors out of a portal, two got back up rejoined another sqaud. Then behind the Monolith was another two Warriors hanging back so must have been 4 in total and probably not as many Scarab swarms as I made out.

Assuming 4 attacks, a power weapon with re-rolls to hit does slightly more average wounds than one with S5. I5 is nice to get in before other people's stuff, but for pure killing power the BT are actually better.
