Those stiched togethers look like the Boogey man from Nightmare Before Christmas. Ahh, good memories. Nice job overall.

Well, it's all finished. Unfortunately, I can't use them in the tournament I made them for, but I still think they turned out great.

Been awhile since I had a chance to update this thread! Well, I finally got around to finishing up the Forgeworld Eldar Void Phoenix I picked up secondhand last summer, unfortunately the previous owner's prime job wasn't the best and it started to pull away in certain areas when I laid the first coat of paint down! So, if you look closely you can see there's some peeling in the crevices. As such, I didn't go through as much of an effort as I had planned, as I know I'll eventually just have to strip it again and start from scratch.

He looks really good especially the book. But I think you could do better on his banner. It seems kind of plain

Yes, I do agree, however he sat on my table for 2 hours and I just couldn't think of anything! Maybe I'll revisit the banner when I get an idea...

This is a mini I picked up at Adepticon, he's from Badger Games and is called "Slee'Zan with Rifle VIII". Personally, I think he could do double duty as both a Tarellian in Inquisimunda and an alien bad guy in Doctor Who!

They were a joy to paint, lots of character and small enough that it didn't take very long. I mounted them on the taller Rackham bases so they'd stand out more.

Enjoy!

FINALLY got around to painting these excellent old school GW Arbites figures. Believe it or not, they have been sitting in my drawer, primed, for almost 10 years now! These were some of the very first minis I ever bought way, way back in 1996.

The blue basecoat was laid down, zenithal-wise, with airbrush paint. Everything else is Reaper Pro Paints (which I'm becoming addicted to). This is also my first attempt at NMM...what do you think?

I love the Eldar mate!

You gotta tell me where you got the voodoo doll and other dolls in your Malifaux crew.

Thanks. The doll with the coffin is an OOP Rackham Familiar of Darkness. All the other dolls are from Tor Gaming.

Completed Em4's 'Not-Road Warrior' today, I call him "Angry Maxwell". It was tough to get the graying hair on his temples right...

Here's a shot of him with two other Em4 P-A Survivors I did just last year, so you can see how my painting has evolved in only about 14 months.

My first Steampunk mini and one I've had my eye on for quite some time now - Reaper Chronoscope "Sasha Dubois". I'm fairly proud of this piece since it's the first time I've painted a female face convincingly.

How typical - all sorts of twisted monsters and graphic violence are okay but some naked breasts and nipples need to be covered. Pfff! I think we need to reexamine certain values as a culture.
