WOW! What a fantastic army you have painted!!!! They are a little different than the way I paint my CF's but that is the enjoyment of the hobby!!

Very very well done!!

Thank you very much!

I'm planning to add more speeders and 3 more Landraiders to the army along with finishing the MotF conversion and wrapping up Lysander's and my assault terminator's paint jobs.

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

Been forever since I've posted, but you know how it is. I've got two updates: a little bit of paint on that awful looking Lysander conversion I posted a while back and a Rifleman Dread conversion with a little bit of paint on it.

I made this guy from an AoBR Sergeant and a bunch of bits I had laying around. There's loads of greenstuff on him as well, namely the shield embossing. He's in the basecoat stage at this point and hasn't seen further paint due to distraction and commissions I've been working on. The mechanic's car is the last one fixed and all that... Still very rough, but better than the no-paint pics of him earlier in the blog.

Next up is the Rifleman Dreadnought I converted from an AoBR Dreadnought. The arms got the bulk of the converting treatment, having been snipped, shaved, shaped, filled with milliput, then smoothed and sanded. The ammo drums and the autocannon barrels are from IG heavy weapon teams. I shaved off the skull/cross on the torso and the scroll on the leg, replacing them with greenstuff symbols. I'm not entirely satisfied with the fist symbol as I've made better in the past, but it's on there and I'm not taking it off at this point.

It's unfortunate that I can't work on this army a little more often, but them's the brakes.
