The Wolves are looking pretty good so far though I don't really like the combi-flamer. I think it would look better with the flamer (and small tank) underslung rather than up top.

My combi flamers have the small tank on the side and it can be done fairly well, ill show them here soon. I should get some pics of them since they are my gf's army and I should be sending them to her soon.

Great work on the models shown here!

Here is the best combi-flamer tutorial I have come across, it might help; I am going to use it to convert a bunch of stern guard. I might show some pics here later.

Your chapter is Goffs. A Goff Marine Chapter. Awesome.

Though guards may sleep and ships may lay at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire.

I agree. I'll mess with it, and do underslung for the second combi melta

I hated assembling that metal dread, had to get a staff member at GW to do it for me, otherwise I would have a drednought shaped hole in my TV, lovely model though

I used this great Texture paint that I found at A.C. Moore( or Michaels) called Folkart Texture Paint. It comes in alot of colors including brown(what I used for the tanks, its close to a Burnt Sienna or Bestial Brown shade) , Codex Grey color and a Green that is close to Goblin Green. I also used it on the Marine Display/Movement trays which are nothing more than squares cut out of a "No Parking" Sign from Home Depot (TIP- those signs are basically really thick plasticard and for about 3 bucks you get a huge piece) and then apply the texture paint. Its also great for quick easy basing. Knocks out the gluing of sand and basecoating in one fell swoop ( best done before the model is glued to the base).

Here's what the bottle looks like.

heres a test model for my DA army. He hasn't recieved any washes on his armour or weathering so he's not going to be as bright as this

and here's a pic of a 3 hour freehand practice, before and after a devlan mud wash to see the effect:
