Dominions can take up to four meltaguns themselves, with a Combi-melta on the VSS if you take one with that squad as well. That is usually more than enough to take down a LR. Either DSing Seraphim or just moving them normally into range of their up to three possible (with two of them twin-linked) Inferno Pistols also works. Exorcist tanks can damage a LR as well and at range, but that's really not a good use of Exorcists unless you have absolutely nothing else to shoot at. Retributior Squads can take Multi-meltas if you want them, but they are fairly pricey point-wise, and compete with Exorcist tanks for HS slots.

Anyway, as was said before, any other SoB squad can generally take up to two meltaguns which with BS 4 are quite good. But otherwise just ignore a solo LR and worry about killing their Troops or the LR's cargo if it has unloaded already.

There is a fine line between genius and insanity and I colored it in with crayon.

If you were playing apocalype and wanted to ally gk with sisters then you could field a gk lr from the daemonhunters codex. Thats the only way the armies can ally really. I would suggest waiting for the new codex whenever its released before you start your army. Nearly all the models have been withdrawn atm anyways.

"Innocence Proves Nothing... Except That You've Done Nothing Wrong"

Welcome to the Daemonhunters, the ranks of the exalted Ordo Malleus and their cannon fod....er, I mean, loyal allies. Remember...the only ones who need fear the righteous might of the Ordo Malleus are the Daemonic.

quote: Dashofpepper: ...sad rivulet of demon prince tears. He ponders for a moment, then lashes the demon hunters into him. He assaults them, kills a terminator or two....and then demon hunters being demon hunters....they proceed to wtfpwn him. Second player leaves the table...

Sisters can have melta weapons all over the place.

ForsakenGod wrote:really ... normal meltas not multi meltas are good can openers?

The only difference in armour penetrating ability between a meltagun and multi-melta is range.

There's also a unit known as "Retributors" (heavy FOC) that can have 4 multimeltas and an Immolator (also can have TL multimelta on it) so that unit has plenty of anti-armor usage. And the Immolator can be an FOC choice by itself.
So, don't worry about Sisters v armor vehicles they have plenty of options to deal with it.
