Neighbours... *paints target on his face*

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Excerpt from "Seeress of Kell", Book Five of The Malloreon series by David Eddings.

I set the DVR to record Ancient Aliens on the History Channel. I cant help but watch it! Partly because it gets my tinfoilhat going. Other part is the "experts" are almost all completely nuts looking, but dammit I have to watch the show.

Ahahahaha I love that show.

I love how one of the "experts" is a host of one of those 2am talk-shows where people call in about UFO's and whatnot. He obviously knows what he's talking about!

And this dude looks like an alien:

Criminal Minds

Usually I can't stand the "crime dramas" but this one has me hooked. Bad news is I'm starting to get a feel for how the writers think and predicting the outcome.

Other than that I rarely watch TV and have little idea when particular shows are on. It's mainly just a "what's on now?" type situation. Not moved into the DVR realm yet so I'm subject to whatever is on ATM.

SNL nowadays is crap, but I'll watch for "Weekend Update: except for the "guest" appearances, that segment is funny. In fact, instead of watching the often recycled stupid skits before it, I am (usually) quite happy to find "The Red Green Show" on PBS. Best show around, those Canadians, they know the secret to life, and other funny things.

Criminal Minds is not about the outcome to me. It's more about what makes the killer/unsub who and what he/she is. I would actually place it in the good show category rather than guilty pleasure category.

Prisoner Cell block H.

I still don't know why I watched it, except that it was late night TV back in the early 90's and it didnt matter if you missed most of the episodes.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

'He used to give me roses......'. cell Block was quality.

I used to watch the Hitman and Her late at night. I used to think Michaela Strachan was hot, ah, the blinkers of youth and cheap claymore whiskey.

My current guilty pleasure is the Vampire Diaries, I usually paint, in the dining room, whilst this is on but I drift to the door when I hear my wife muttering about the show, then I ask what's going on, and then I take my tray with paint sand minis on and sit down on the sofa promising never to watch it a....what's Nathan done now?

Whats wrong with me! (sobbing with shame emoticon).

YES! That guy in particular. Everytime hes yaking on about THIS IS WHY THEY ARE REAL MAN!!!!! I cant stop looking at his insane hair. I just cant take him seriously.

Also Im adding GLEE on here. I watch it with my wife, and I hate the show, the story line is terrible, but Sue Sylvester is hilarious and the singing is top notch. But on the outside....its totally gay and un manly and Ill never speak of it again! because its on or something

Mrs Flashman watches Smallville and therefore I watch it by virtue of being in the lounge. Fortunately it's gotten really bad now and even she thought Season 9 was rubbish, so hopefully I won't have to suffer Season 10

The real shame is, go back a year and a half and it was pretty good, Hogan's ego has destroyed them and they don't even realise it yet. Only chance now is Russo getting fired, and someone waking up the company and getting back to what they where good at.

To be honest thats about all he hasn't done, hehe. Well to be fair I think he has learned 'some' lessons from the fall of WCW, but his key problems still remain, made all the worse by the arrival of Hogan and Bischoff.

Which is, storylines stop mid story and are instantly forgotten, folks attacking folks for no reason, and if there is an apparent reason, it is dragged on for weeks and then not explained anyways. Basic stuff like he heels and face changes folks way too often, with no real reasoning usually.

I'm pretty sure he has some kind of multiple personality disorder when it comes to his scripting of shows, and the personality which starts a storyline, isn't the same one who finishes it.

Omadon's Realm

Since arriving here in the US earlier this month, I am enjoying Anthony Bourdain's 'No Reservations' food show.

My really dirty secret in the UK was 'Total Fishing' presented by Matt Hayes, the intro alone, featuring fish being landed and Matt Hayes voguing with shades on, to the sound of rock guitar solo, was enough to seal the deal for me...

TNA was a guilty secret of mine until I heard Hogan was coming back,

Then I saw that Styles was helping prolong Ric Flairs career, and I felt really used and cheap.

I learnt long ago that wrestling is just so much soap opera, but whilst I can suspend disbelief at men in tights settling their divorces with a fist fight in a wrestling ring with a build up over many weeks a 60+ elderly gent taking his top off challenging 20 somethings to a scrap whilst their man boobs are swinging is going too far.

VKM you had better take note too!

I don't think I would consider "No Reservations" to be a guilty pleasure.

I've yet to meet someone that wouldn't willingly trade lives with Bourdain after seeing that show.
