I like fatal flaws. A lot of chapters like the Imperial Fists and the Ultra's just dont have those glaring fatal flaws.
The ones that do have a bullet in the belly of the beast bring more to the table in my opinion.
Hell, I am starting a Fire Hawks list as my project for the year. In the fluff they have all but evaporated after the Baddab War which nearly destroyed the chapter...
Fatal flaws are one thing. That's what makes the Blood and Dark Angels so compelling, after all. However, having your defenses so muddled up that it is even remotely possible to blow yourself up is, for a Marine chapter of such renown, laughably stupid. Orks would do something like that, or maybe even

CF less and less as this thread goes on. If I ever played a C:
SM list, I'd probably still want Kantor to lead it, because Sternguard are that cool, but he and his blew it here and trying to scapegoat the Inquisition just makes them look sillier.
