The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

most of the soundtrack from Castlevania: Lords of Shadow was just beautiful and almost awesome (in the truest dictionary meaning of the word awesome) just one song below.. but i honestly think that i could listen to this soundtrack without playing the game.
absolute class artist absolute class song absolute class game = sorted
oh and the portal song is amazing as well but this really really has to be the winner (cos who the feck does not love monkey island?!) (and whoever dosnt should be hunted down, purged, shrived and burned witchhunter style!)
Once more down to the beach, dear friends, once more,
To drown our sorrows with our English beer!
In peace there's nothing so becomes a man
As modest stillness and humility;
But when the blast of alcohol blows in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the tiger:
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood.

Great tunes, used ingame at great moments to really enforce the tone of the game. Far Away is played when John is forced to go to Mexico, Compass is played when he finally rides home and Already Dead, well just play the game.
I agree with this. Totally.
Also check on youtube something called 'The Device Has Been Modified.'
Portal stuff remix. Great.

Simply stunning piece of music that worked awesomely with the scripted sound engineering, so well written and produced it could go on for ten minutes without getting boring (And it often did, 'cos of those pesky flood!). Also it has some nice ballsy percussion that is sadly lacky in all the rest of the steadily poorer follow up soundtracks.
A mournful, soulful piece of music, that played when i knew i was reaching the end of the finest game ever made.
Just a great jamesbondtackular exciting piece of music. This was so good it was unmatched by any of the quite poor efforts in 4. Love the slinky funk bass, the flirtatious interplay between brass and strings and the jungle percussions, then a woodwind to add some flavour.
