Well that clears things up a bit. Best way to deal with that unit? Mech up, and drive around it.

And once you determine what can kill it, you charge it. Footslogging Termies are an Ork player's best friend, because if you're mechanized, you can choose what charges it and when.

Sounds like horde orks vs footslogging BA. Why would a BA footslog... Any idea what the rest of his army is typically comprised of?

It sound like the best way to combat such a list is with boomgun wagons, lootas, and maybe a mek with SAG.

Also, you should have a line of grots in front of the termies (minimum size) to stop them from assualting the shooting models.

3 Killa Kans w/ 3 skorchas - 130 IIRC

Realistically, the best way to handle that unit is probably just to throw Ghazghkull solo into it.

On the turn he Waaaghs (and his turn after), you're looking at 7 attacks and a 2+ invul.

He'll put down 4 no-armor/FnP wounds while taking no return wounds in the process. After that, expect 3 invul only wounds. Even after he's done with his Waaagh! he still has a 5+ invul and can't be instant deathed.

Plus, you should probably have Ghazghkull in your army anyways at anything above 1500 points, and combat with those Termies is the best place for him to be.

Ha ha! You fool! You fell victim to one of the classic 40k blunders - The most famous of which is "never get involved in a game against Stelek or Dashofpepper" - but only slightly less well-known is this: "Never go against BA Terminators, when winning is on the line!" hahahaha hahahaha hahaha-ha

10 Nobs with at least 5 powerklaws and diversified wargear + Ghazkul in a Battlewagon with a Deffrolla should take care of that Terminator squad, and everything else he has. Don't forget the Painboy for the Cybork Bodies and the Waagh Banner, and you should be good to go. Pop the Waagh on the turn you charge them, and make sure Ghaz bases as many terminators as possible to absorb extra attacks, and the terminators should melt.

Since you guys are loose with Wargear, you should easily be able to make this unit with what you have.

The trick is to make sure each nob is different then the other so you can allocate wounds to them separately, meaning he will have to cause 11 wounds on the unit before you even remove a model. That's pretty demoralizing for an opponent.

I actually did not know that specific rule, thanks!
