Which is honestly just silly. You're not really gonna be using them as footsloggers, they really are more of a replacement for Nob Bikers, stuck in a battlewagon for a fast, brutal first strike. If you're lucky, you can then hop them back in and head off towards something else, after smashing a great big honkin hole in the enemy line.
And one thing you have to watch for when converting AoBR Termies (I actually have good experience with this) is the legs. They're not exactly too long, but they're bent the wrong way. That is, not enough. Just cutting the little accordion pleat off the back is usually enough to change the pose proppa.
And back on Meganobz. Perhaps the Megaz and the Gitz should both be in one group, call 'em da Flash Nobz, and the squad can have either Mega Armour or Snazzgunz.

No, MegaArmor and Snazzgunz should be upgrades of Nobz. Just like Biker Nobz, only no Bike & MegaArmor (one or the other) and Snazzgun replace both Choppa & Slugga.

It would be nice if you could theme them around a klan though things like:
Goffs: may take an extra poweklaw (+1 attack)
Evil sunz: gain a turbo system thing and ignore slow and purposfull
Deathskulz: can take deffguns
Snakebites: can take attack squigs or ammo runts
Bad moonz: can take kustom mega-blasta
Bloodaxe's: gain infiltrate and move through cover

Oh, that'd be keen. I think, though, if you were to do that, (you are talking about Meganobz, right?) though, you'd almost have to have their FoC position switched as well. Maybe Bloodaxes and Evil Sunz would become Fast Attack, Bad Moonz and Deffskullz'd be Heavy Support. Though Goffs and Snakebitez would stay Elite.
I could definitely see Manz wiff Deffgunz being a terrifying sight on the battlefield, since SnP gives them Relentless as well, so they'd be blazing away with their d3 shots right up until they assault.

I'd never pay to put Deffguns on MaNz. Sure, it makes them a potent firebase, but if you're going to go that route, why not just buy lootaz? You'd get much more firepower for your points.
Lootaz are good, but only because you can take so many of them.

True enough, but Relentless, Manz'd Lootaz would be loads more maneuverable and survivable, which I think would be worth 5 models. Besides, you'd be able to stick them in a dedicated Battlewagon.

wow i thought that was a bad idea when i thought of it, i'd imagine they would need to pay a few extra points for deffguns but being relentless would make how slow they are worthwhile
plus it would look really, really cool

Think of it like this: no on buys lootaz because their survivable or because they're maneuverable. We buy them for nothing more than pure ranged killing power. The fact that they're stripped down to their bare essentials is what makes them great. Add anything extra on, and it ends up just becoming wasted points.
I would take 5 Lootaz over a single MaN with a deffgun every single time. Sure, the 5 lootaz may end up dying before the MaN, but I guarantee that the lootaz will do much more damage over the course of the game.

When ever I take MANz they are in a vehicle. Ive thought about having them lagg behind in a footsloggin list, for DS/outflankers and the like, or if that never happens then they would be a powerful 2nd wave for sure. Anywho, stick a couple of them in a BW (though randomly Ill toss them in a trukk and trymy luck. The surprise on your opponents face when they hop out instead of 12 boyz is priceless. Mainly though you want them to their target ASAP, because they are slow and your relying on an Ork vehicle to get them there. Lets be frank, even the BW isnnt THAT hard to take out. But Im tellin ya, you guys that just see no point in them, play them the right way, and actually try to use them and youll be surprised at just how much they can destroy, and I usually only take 4 with a boss or BigMek stuck in. They are a real power house. But I agree, if I had to cut costs or choose between MANz or Lootas? Yea Im going for the deffgunz
