Back in 4th, watched a Marshal walk through squads of Necrons turn after turn thanks to him consolidating into nearby units per combat. Never used the phalanx maneuver again.

I was a victim of 9 pie plates of death in a APOC game once and about 4,000 pts of Chaos Marines vanished after round 2, Never upset the store employes when there playing in APOC, everyone with artillery targeted me for 2 solid turns lol.

Watched a homebrew apoc unit (40 base strong mortar team) wipe out over 350 orks over 4 turns.
That was so awesome. The guy actually twiddled his moustache and yelled "Fire!" then unleashed hell with his Praetorians.

lol I tried that once on Space Wolfs and and the end of turn six he had only his Commander in Termie armor w/ power fist vs. my last man a vet sgt IG with power sword. He failed to hit me and I killed him. I will never again trust IG indirect fire again as I hit everything but what I was shooting at lol. Killed alot of terrain as well as Termies.

I faced this unit.
Ragnar Blackmane, Logan Grimnar, max squad of Wolfguard with an assortment of Frost Blades, Wolf Claws etc...
the squad had preferred enemy from Logan and +d3 attack on the charge from Ragnar.
Wiped a squad of TH/SS terminators before they go to swing.

Ragnar's a beast. I gotta say, most of the people I play against would probably list him were they responding to this topic.
Personally, I'm scared of Incubi. I haven't gotten to play against them yet, but I think they're going to cause me a lot of problems.

Mate of mine with the new DE talked them up a bunch, bit of an anti-climax when I actually played against them though. Armoured Sentinel downed the Raider with Archon and co then charged, he had nothing that get through front armour 12.
