Pretty much applies to all fights, odds are you will get hurt. You have to be prepared to handle it.

I know that in the Marines we literally beat the gak out each other, as part of training, doing something similar to what is in that video. You have to get them off of you and roll them into an arm bar while they're punching and attempting to choke you out.

There seems to be this wierd thing that people are taking us saying that it is a part of training and acting like we are saying that it is all there is in training. No one has said that they spend the whole time beating the cadets. During the several month training regime, on a few occasions, a cadet has to learn both what it is like to be assaulted and how to properly respond under controlled conditions.
