DAs would need some of the following stuff:

A Higher tier librarian other than Ezekiel, one that can actually have options rather than a preset wargear selection.

All of the Characters upgraded to current Captain and Chaptermaster stats (WS 6 and the likes).

Ravenwing should have at least a 5 point reduction in cost, 10 points ideally to match their SM counterparts.

New vehicles. Namely the Redeemer and Venerable Dreadnought (not the "one reroll on the damage table" ven dread we have now).

Terminator Armor and Artificer Armor for Company Masters.

Some special rule to at least differentiate them from the Normal SMs like BA, BT and SW have. Personally I think they should make DAs cost more, but allow them to have Relentless and encourage taking Plasma Weaponry, to give them some flavour from Vanilla and Loganwings.

Finally, Belial needs some special rules. Currently he is a Company Master in terminator armor with very little options.

Personally instead of the Master of Deathwing being a special character, Deathwing should just be unlocked as a Troop Choice if you have a Company Master in Terminator Armor. It's pretty much what we have right now anyways.

Why would Ezekiel neccessarily need wargear options? He's pretty good as is and his psychic powers fit the profile of the Dark Angels. Also remember Dark Angel psychic hoods cover the entire table, not just range and LOS

I wouldn't mind WS upgrades for the leaders. They are supposed to be some pretty hardcore fighters, but only one is Immune to Instant Death, and it seems that the leader of the Deathwing is always forgetting his Iron Halo...

Ravenwing being 5 pts cheaper, like vanilla marines... does that include the fact that they get teleport beacons?

Dark Angels don't do the Redeemer. That seems to be more of a Salamanders thing. They'd prefer lots of bullets, then a bum rush of terminators. I wouldn't mind the actual Venerable Dreadnought, but I like how little it costs.

Only one Company Master should have Terminator armour, and he already does. The fluff establishes that many of the Dark Angels leadership belong to the Deathwing, but not all of them are current;y attached to it. Sometimes, the marines are too valuable in their positions of leadership to put them back into the field as grunts, albeit elite grunts.

There were some special rules to make Dark Angels stand out, most notably, they had Intractable. Basically, they ignored the morale break point and kept working till the last man was dead or successful. There was also a rule about the Hunt for the Fallen, where certain units may have had information and they needed to be captured. Even more, there was a unit for Chaos Marines that was of special interest.

The Dark Angels codex does need some tweaking, yes, but not to this extent. The new FAQs really helped the Dark Angels, which probably mean that we won't see a new codex for a while. So like all good field commanders, we Dark Angels players need to work with our strengths, rather than groan about our weaknesses. If we call them out, the enemy hears and learns...

I'd much rather prefer Ravenwing to be 10 points cheaper and have Teleport Beacons as an option rather than being manditory. One DS does not justify upping my troop choice's cost by almost 30%. As for the Captain in termie armor and Ezekiel options, it's mainly the fact that the higher tier librarians and captains should be customizable, rather than being special characters made as a stand-in.

Giving Army-wide Stubborn or Fearless would also be a start. Quite frankly I mention these changes when taking into consideration the Vanilla dex, Space Wolves Dex and BA dex. Captain in terminator armor, Epistolary Librarian, and cheaper bikes are just baseline stuff everyone else gets, it's not a big change. Hell DAs dont even get Artificer Armor outside of one or two special characters, and BA have it on a whole squad.

Captains don't need terminator armour, belial is cheap enough and it doesn't match up fluff wise. Artificer armor would be nice. Better psychic powers for Librarians as well as cheaper wargear options for my tac squads.....and the option for them to take teleport homers
