I love the way IF look on the table, and they're a lot of fun to paint. I know people have problems painting yellow....but I don't I usually paint them on the dirty side, because I wash most of the recesses with devlan mud, but I could just as easily leave them clean by using watered down desert yellow for the lowlights and going over the golden yellow with a drybrush of sunburst..... Ah, well, yes.

Dark Eldar Archon (I'd like to paint it as it is on the website)
Eldar Wraithlord (iyanden would be my first choice, but open to other schemes)
Plague marines ( I do play chaos, but I prefer old 2nd edition guys, so I don't get to try some of the more advanced techniques)
Baneblade- (prefer to paint simple cadian colors, with camo, I guess. Variants are fine)
Lysander (by himself. He's a pretty cool guy)
Kharne (again, I play chaos, but have no intention of buying him. I want to paint him kind of dirty. The last one I did was too clean)
Witch Hunters exorcist (need to work on dull golds)
Dark Angels veterans (no patience for rank and file. just want to do cool guys)
Helbrect (funfunfun metals)
Juggernauts of khorne
Bloodthirster
Bloodletters (Khorne is my first love, except all I've done is too small. Red is my favorite color to do)
Valkyrie (cadian colors, preferably)
Hive Tyrant (I do kraken, so bone colored flesh is preferable. any carapace color)

I'll update this list as I find things that interest me. Like I said, all commissions are free, unless it's outrageous (like two baneblades. I have no interest in two). I do ask that you include return shipping, seeing as I can't really lose money doing something for free

I'm also doing regular commissions, so If you have one of those things, just PM me. I'm kind of busy though, so nothing huge

I just received my Archon back from Samus_aran115

I think it is an excellent job, it is tabletop standard maybe slightly above, which is all I would ever want from models that I play with. It is a good enough job that I am considering getting my entire army painted...though that would cost me a fortune.

The eyes are a little brighter than the picture shows, I think. Overall, I'm quite happy with the commission. This was my first journey into DE, and it's inspired me to pick them up myself! Thanks again!

What caused the alien blood like eating away at the base? Looks like it dripped off of the grayish brown part of the cloak.

Not sure exactly. It came in the box like that

I couldn't really fill it in, so I just left it. These recently made bases seem kind of cruddy

all the bases I've used with the DE have that little bubble in them, not a big deal for me since I'm going to resin base my whole DE army

I was looking to start a second army anyway :3

By the way, I've decided to add a little bit of freehand to some of your orks. Just some checkers in white, but it adds a little something that I like. There's about two freehands for every 10 guys, roughly. Let me know if you'd like me to quit that

Congratulations on being the exact opposite of me. I've always found painting to be an unpleasant chore at which I am below average, but love buying and then partially assembling and then abandoning models.

Don't worry about it! I've tried my best to make it look well presented. Not too much extra stuff, but not completely rare either. I've also been doing straps in brown when I find it convienent. It's a nice distarction from all the black and green.

well right now im doing the infantry mechanite-red with white gear trim, usually drenched in brown wash so it looks like they soak in holy machine oil, and the vehicles heavy on black but also with mechanite red on most of the armor.

but anyways pm me, I'd like to keep away from anything i have to make a bunch of so that one doesnt stand out but i'll see what i can do XD

I had a lot of fun painting this model, and overall, I'm very happy with it. There's a couple flaws I'm noticing now that I see it blown up (the smoke stacks aren't bright enough, and aren't touched up enough, the back of the Plasma Cannon looks boring

), but the overall thing looks great, especially for yellow

But yeah! Thanks a lot. Consider this thread necro'd. I was thinking about making a new one, but I'll just use this one again.

Well, I'm still waiting on my tax return; had to mail it in cause of some stupid clerical error in their system, but if it shows up in the next couple weeks, I'll see if I can send him along to ya. Not sure how much it is to mail that brick of a guy.
