The style works so well. Id like to see how it go's in GD. Maybe as a squad entry?

Works...so...well...

Looks awesome, as with your Nids I really like the super-saturated black-lined comic book style.

What's your black lining technique? Are you putting gloss varnish on them followed with an ink/wash?

Thanks All

KingCraker,

Just layering. I tried to explain it to someone earlier but it makes no sense without visuals. I will do a tutorial soon 

Yawg/ More Dakka

The black lines are the undercoat left visible. I will do a tutorial soon 

OoieGoie,

Might do a squad for GD at some point 

Very stunning paint job, not a great fan of the overall look, a bit too comic book for me. But I can't fault the technique and colours used.

/thumbsup from me.

You have a very unique painting style. I hope you enter one of these in a Golden Demon contest at some point. One of your nids would surely make it way past first cut.

Really really nice, great contrast between the armour and the power weapons. Smoth and clean colours.

Looking at these reminds me of my old painting style... Just good, flat base colours and a brighter colour shade layered on top. I've never been able to paint as much now as I did then. I can see that you've highlighted some areas, but the armour and such isn't strikingly done so. I really like them! This is my true style... Clean, flat, simple... Thankyou oh thanyou for posting these!
