Princes are pretty decent (toughness, attacks) and its the extra incantations, so you get more chances of powering the extra attack incantation through, for example.

I know were starting to get more and more into tactica here, but the limitation with Incantations is even if the incantation is dispelled, you can only target a unit with each one once.
So if you have a king and a prince in the same unit, your boned because they only know righteous smiting and incantation of urgency. Granted, the King has a 6 inch range, but the odds of having another unit within 6 inches if you are using your current unit as a delivery system is pretty low.

Each unit can be affected once, but can be targeted as many times as it takes for the effect to occur, or am I misreading something?

Which was the point I was making - you then end up with enough incantations (quite quickly heading into double figures) such that, unless you roll insanely high on winds of magic AND your opponent channels and / or has a way of generating more dispel dice, you are going to get some of those off.

TKs use Power dice for Bound spells.
thats why Bound spells are so good for TKs. they only use PD for those items and generally get alot of them off.
between Bound Spells, incantations, and a Wizard hat you can throw some serious magic out there and your opponent has to choose between stopping any of these.
I would reccomend you use Bound spells and the Madhatter before your incantations. that way your incantations are almost assured of going off. or your bound spells and Hat spells go off and no incantations.
on a side note, someone needs to make a Johnny Depp Tomp King model for a Wizard hat bearer
