If you own any other Dawn of War games on Steam right now you have an invitation to the beta. Should show up in your Steam games list. Unfortunately it is only multiplayer (unless you want to do skirmish vs the AI, which is horrible) but I guess they had to leave something for the retail release

this is not at all true, as I posted a few days ago. You can get into the beta for free without pre-ordering. So do it!

It's fun but hard (that's what she said). There is a lot of strategery by Darkvoid you may find useful as well.

You can also get into the beta after receiving a key from community.dawnofwar2.com, which is the website ran by Relic and THQ. That option's been avialable before the steam option, started at beginning of Feb. Registering is free and you can get your key for free.

As for the guard - they are pretty good, nicely representing the tabletop with many machines (more than the other races have), infantry spam and have really good voice acting.
