Well, I don't keep up-to-date with the latest GK news and rumors so I may be way off-base here . . .

But I seem to have read new(?) fluff about the GK being organized into Brotherhoods or some such, each led by a Brotherhood champion, and each of these GK frats is renowned for something or the other, like say assault or siege warfare. Seems to me that this is the new(?) fluff justification of painting up GK in colors other than the standard silver and metal + trimmings.

This would be an awesome way to introduce some variety to the color scheme of the GK.

I agree. But how big are these "brotherhoods"? 100? 1000?

Subunits. Earlier paint schemes (it has been 40K years).
Also you could have other marine chapters who have become dedicated to some segment of the inquisition, and have taken on the traits and training of GKs. They would have their own paint scheme.

Thats what they want you to think! (translation yea I forgot about the 30K thing, but then again thats about 3x recorded human history so we're good).
