I will add that one more thing you can consider is dropping 2 of the VV squads and taking 3 squads of missile launcher Devastators instead. You would lose effectiveness against really shooty armies but it would really help against other stuff. I haven't tried this myself but I know some people on this site like it.

Anyway, I believe he is Playtesting tonight vs my Deathwing army. May do a complete batrep and post it up for you guys if you don't mind proxys.

Yes mate I'd do that as it's your best option, more melta is better and you can get closer easier with jump packs compared to tanks.

I tried the infernus last night against Death Wing. I missed the power weapon attack last night but agree the pistols will be better against most other things.

When in assault the Priest would be nailed first as any oppoent would allocate attacks onto the Priest if they could, also if that Priest cannot get into c.c then it cannot use the power weapon - it might take a few down with it but will ultimately die and end up costing more points for what is a buffer unit.
