Looking good so far Miss Dee, and yep I think the BA Death company dread is a must have specially if you are already using the BA dex!

Have you thought about tracking down the odd LotD marine to use? just thinking about the amount of skulls and chains on those suckers, may fit the Night Lords.

BTW the lightning is fantastic.

these look cool , i was thinking of making my CSM night lords as well , their fluff is pretty cool , but the idea of creatig lighting was a bit scary. But i guess thats why it works for them , being scary and all that.

Yep it heats the water and the radiators.

The lightning was done with a 00 brush using vallejo's Sky Blue then Monoth White highlight.

Might prime some of my spartan stuff today Dystopian Wars Federated States or Blazing Sun, just waiting for Wayland games to get the Blazing Sun Carrier in from Shepton Mallet.

Some of that Dystopian Wars stuff looks pretty cool, bits keep catching my eye.

Radiators? Luxury! I have a gas fire in the lounge and an electric heater in the workroom(was the main bedroom). Plus a couple of dodgy heating panels in the ceiling. Means I have to keep all the doors open if I want heat.

Gets very cold in the winter, and hot in the summer.

My houseboat is basically a trailer home with a pontoon built around it, so in winter I just have this huge heat-sink a foot below my floor.

Always did like the nightlords, not a huge fan of the old helmets for them though but the idea of living lightning cascading about their armor puts pictures of night assaults the defenders ansiously looking out over the defenses as a storm seems to brew on the horizon dust kicking up as they draw closer the horror at the realisation that it's not a storm but the nightlords.

The 2nd cc squad will be zerkers once more but will be mounted in a Rhino I was going to get a 2nd Space Shuttle (Flying Brick Space Cowboys ref fantastic Clint movie.)

I will get a 2nd LR the mark IIb from FW but I will call them when I do.

When the Stargate arrives I will have a few squads around it.

Got the BA Dread, hes just wraped up drying from a quick wash.

Got the dread dryed, have filled the crosses, removed the blood drops, added 3 skulls from the marine backpacks.

He's in 4 bits at the moment am looking into getting a resis dread base from FW. Picts as soon as I remember.

I'd kind of assumed the crosses would be raised as opposed to just marked out (hadn't really given much attention to the model when it was released). That does make it a more interesting option for conversions - it can be a right pain cutting/filing down raised details sometimes.

Could a night lords army legally use the land raider achillies?

Dread is gonna look good, i really like that model, will fit nicely in night lords

will you give the dread the same cool lightning lok all over?
