what the Deamocobula were is this.

they were human women that were twisted by chaos to be able to get capture human boys, put them in their, massivly, swollen wombs along with Geneseed.

the boys would either get transformed into Chaos Marines OR something would go wrong and they would turn into "Unfleshed"(massively muscled, skinless beasts with a multitude of twisted shapes, but still human. the child would still have it's memories from it's previous life)

the Unfleshed had become hunters of the Chaos Marines(they would eat them) and worshiped the Emperor, what little they knew about him. they also would care for the Unfleshed who were unale to move because of the form they had been twisted into(no legs, too fat...)

United States of WAAAGH!

I've always thought they still used the same cloning practice as the Space Marines, seeing how they still retain their geneseeds and, from my knowledge, have stolen geneseeds in previous encounters.

Well, they might not have all the facilities to do it exactly the same way, but they can just use their newfound dark power to make new marines.

Depends on the legion/chapter.

Like in the "Blood Gorgons" novel, they have a gene-seed and use it to create new chaos marines (which they harvest hardy humans off of a planet). They bond these new brothers through organ implants and "Blood Bonding" which links an older member of the chapter, and a new initiate.

Really cool, even though the exact process isn't described, but the Gorgons seem more like the Space Wolves and Blood Angels Codexes, they still act and are organized much like loyalist marines, but the taint of chaos is there...

Definitely recommend picking it up
