No, I mean when Realaudio had tons of them, a decade before Apple got in on it.

I don't know how you feel about Flames of War but I've really enjoyed the "What Would Patton Do" podcast.

But podcasts don't require an always-on internet connection, which makes listening to them in the car or while walking the dog much easier for me...

I've generally not bothered with them as the (very) few I've listened to were about tournament style play which I truly do not care about, at all, what-so-ever (to the point that I wouldn't shed a single tear if Jervis magically eliminated all of those players from the hobby and made them go play Warmachine.)
If there were youtube/video casts of painting and modeling stuff, I'd probably be interested in that. ( I mean in depth how to's and such).

I listen to:
11th Company
World's End Radio
Independent Characters
The Overlords
I usually rely on these to just be background noise whilst I'm gaming (computer, that is) or just hobbying. My choice of music is quite annoying for some people and needs to be listened to loud, so podcasts serve the purpose if I'm not alone. Your "my way to enjoy my hobby is better than yours" demeanor is saddening, but the Independent Characters and The Overlords are more fluffy, hobby-centric just want to roll some dice and have a good time podcasts.

I think the drop-pod casting is great; never had any problems with mould lines or assembly.
