My hangover cure is not drinking.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

Bah to that!

You cannot get hungover if you die of alcohol poisoning.

I dont actually drink before work, and i never will. Generally because work involves driving. Back when i was a student i would usually not sleep as hangovers only start when you wake up.

Right, it's always good to poison your body to cure the effects of poisoning your body.

It's supposed to have worked for Mithridate, so I guess we can't condemn this principle

The only cure I know is time, tranquility, and repentance or, as Melissia said, not drinking, which works quite well too.

I almost always agree with Albatross, I can't see why anyone wouldn't.

Since I usually wake up three or four hours after I go to bed, I am always still drunk, and slowly transition into sober.
My "cure" is usually is hours of vomiting and showering, and vomiting while showering. after that I can't eat for a day or two
Let's just say I don't drink a lot any more.

It depends on how quickly you need to be up and running.

If you need to get out the door like, now, then beer works well to curb the worst of the withdrawal symptoms (90% of any serious hangover) by extending the detoxification process.

If time doesn't matter, then water and sleep. Definitely avoid the painkillers, as they often put additional stress on your liver, which will make you feel worse for longer.

Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh.

I usually can't sleep when I'm hungover. I end up getting up and doing stuff to take my mind off feeling crappy.

I figure if I'm never sober, I'll also never be hungover.

Song is NSFW.

Spoiler:

More on topic, gatorade before going to bed, and after waking up, followed by a greasy breakfast/lunch.
