Im annoyed. The codex already has overpriced units pointswise, now they make them worse?

Made them worse than when? From a playtest codex that never officially existed to the players? How's that count for a damn thing?

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

I cant see any use for GK terminators other then deepstriking anti tank squads. They are the one thing that can touch down and shoot 4 mastercrafted psycannon shots into vehicles but need to be supported in order to stand a chance surviving counter fire or assaults.

They are far to weak to shooting with only 5++ saves and no storm shield options and with only one overprised Cc inv save worth its name they will loose badly to pretty much all other dedicated assault units.

I was really hoping Ward would make possible GKwing all terminator builds like Loganwing or Deathwing but GKTs are simply to crap to be able to stand on their own.
They are a beefed up troop unit that in turn needs support themselves badly.

Librarian builds with GKTs might work and be fun but I still dont know how to handle those dirt cheap psychic shut downs eldar have, not to mention SW libbies.

I´ll probably buy and paint up some 70 GK terminators for my GK apocalypse army but I dont think many GKTs will ever find their way into competitive tournament builds.

Pretty much I agree... At least the vindicare can take care of the characters, though if they are embarked in a vehicle it'll take time.
