In order to not start a whole 'nother thread, I'll ask my scenario questions here too.

Does the lightning strike in round 3 hurt ethereal units?

Does the effect of rolling only 1d6 inches when you charge apply to swiftstride and flyers? What if you have a bonus dice for movement from a magical item?

If it is not a magical attack, then no.

You only get to roll 1D6, and is more specific than switftstride / etc

ide say yes as the whole scenario is about chaos ripping the world apart causing all of these random anomaly's. Only 1 D6 still.

Could I give the blood soaked choppa to an assassin, and then put him in a unit and give the unit the benefits of the choppa? Even non-core units like black guard for instance? He is a core choice after all, and joins the unit like a character, becoming one unit, after all...

The scenario says all units and "cannot be saved by any means." This over rides all AB fluff.

1d6 charge applies to "all models." It does not includes caveats for magic items.

I would say No because you deploy him in that unit at the start of the game which is the same as giving that unit the choppa
