I'm not so sure. If you go back to the 3rd Ed codex and look at what you can use for a Death Guard army, then you can include Chosen (including Terminators), Posessed, Havocs with special weapons (not heavy) and bikers, all with the Mark of Nurgle. It also includes the phrase. "The Death Guard consist largely of Plague Marines". There's plenty of room there to put standard, marked marines in your army.
