Looking good, you can tell they've had a wash. Try tin bits to highlight the brass, or even light drybrush of brown and turquoise to create a simple verdigris. I like the use of the BA SG head for the serg, btw.

Short update today. My local GW is having a finecast painting competition, so I bought an Emperor's Champion and removed his head, as well as his sword and his left hand, and replaced them with cooler stuff!












I borrowed this Idea from cattafish's tutorial, which is excellent and ended up looking really good.

This is a vindicator I threw together because I had the bits, and it was cheaper than buying a whole new one
It's not finished yet, but that basic shape will stay the same.






Any suggestions about either model are welcome, as long as they are constructive

What did you use for the barrel? Love the use of LS engines!

The barrel was from part of a shadowsword that I have, and I figured since the army is "pre-Heresy", the barrel would look more like the original mark

Sorry for the late update, my lethargic nature is showing again
Anyway, today I have pictures of my newly-finished Rhino. I was quite suprised with how it turned out in the end. It looked kinda crap when I did the mithril silver coat, but the wash has concealed most of the brush strokes up nicely.
I am aware that some of the white bits are wonky, but I really don't mind at this point.











The arrow was done (Inaccurately) with masking tape.#
