Oh yeah? Well us Aussies sent hundreds of soldiers into Turkey, and they all died! It was a tactical disaster, but we like to say it bought the allies time to stop those nasty Turks from taking over the world. ANZAC day is a public holiday solely to remember the sacrifice of those brave soldiers, because lets face it, we really didn't achieve much with the attack, so lets celebrate their deaths and memories.
Every nation has a different war story. Ours just sucks. Even Turkey says they're sorry for kicking our asses so hard.
