Please keep them coming, as for the paint job it is a attached tank company to Catchcans. The main color is battleship grey with blue and white stripes as unit identitification at the nose. The weathing is alot of rust at the bottom and near the front with minor rust on the turret, with the weapons kept pretty much pristine, (they know that the business end is for).

Naming tanks after European monarchs seems to be the way to go.

Well, whats the fluff on the army? Are they roight-n-propa stiff-backs? Are the dog-soldiers? Are they chem-dogs? are they Mechanicum tied?
If they are stiffbacks, something with a title would be good. If they are traitorous, "prospector of pain" is an example. If they are dog soldiers, either a mockery of the stiff-back title or, the name of a girlfriend would work well. Giselde, lady punishment, madam dominatrix, and so forth. Chem dogs? Obscura's Bliss, Lho's Last Blow, etc. Mechanicum would be the latin you are avoiding. Go along army fluff, and see from there.

Also: dont forget that you can add other decals to give the tank more character. If its the name of a lover, paint on a broken hearts representing kill markings, If they are elitists, iron crosses, scum-soldiers, can do the straight lines. Other options for denoting kill markings are the ones the germans used in ww2 of white stripes painted on the barrell of a tanks gun. If they are trophy hoarders/chaotic, bits from the enemy tanks that have been spiked onto the tank (also representing kill-counts)

15 successful trades as a buyer;
16 successful trades as a seller;

To glimpse the future, you must look to the past and understand it. Names may change, but human behavior repeats itself. Prophetic insight is nothing more than profound hindsight.

It doesn't matter how bloody far the apple falls from the tree. If the apple fell off of a Granny Smith, that apple is going to grow into a Granny bloody Smith. The only difference is whether that apple grows in the shade of the tree it fell from.

Hello,
So far I am thinking on the name "Boom Box" and a girls name starting with 'b' as it does fit the naming convention of tank companies, now I just have to vet them to the owner of the tank. I have attached a picture to give people a better idea of it's looks.

Regards,
Carl

Lost in the warp. Halp!

I am adoring this thread. I'm starting an IG army (gawd, why) and I'm going to have A LOT of Chimeras; naming each tank just sounds like more fun and more excuse to be creative with paint.

Staying on topic, there's the possibility of naming them after songs and/or singers. Because who doesn't want a battle cannon named after an opera singer?

Angels of Nezeria (Dark Angels successor chapter)
Tau Marines: Defectors to the Tau Empire (let the nerdrage begin!)

Hello,
Sadley my personal choices in music might not fit this, as I listen to 70s gettofunk and singers like Barry White, however "Love you a little more" might be fun, or James Brown's "It's a Man's World". Tom Jones "Sex Bomb" might be fun as well.

Carl
