3 models? Wow. I guess if you wanna save some money it's a good thing, but I don't know about being competative. Sure each GK is like an HQ choice of another force, but really....it's a tad depressing. Gotta fail saves eventually!

At 1,500 you can do something similar...

Draigo
2 squad of paladin (about 5 per, kit them out)
2 dreadknight (add a weapon)

Not that expensive $ wise.

Not sure how good it would be, but with Apothecaries, the paladin should be somewhat sturdy...
