20 kills within 1 second using a Tyrant is annoying.

Toxic Miasma and a fair amount of luck seems the only real option.

Anvil of khorne, stand in the middle of all the guardsmen while they're stunned.

I tried that a number of times last night, 17 is my best so far.

The issue is more related to the fact that two other folks are also killing.

Also, I think I played a few rounds with you a few days back, Melissia.
Unless someone else has that name in DoW2.

My steam account name is the same as my forum name, yes.

Did you add me?

I now have my duelist's badge, black plate, and zzap knife. Man does my duelist guard kick ass.

I had not.

I actually realized it was (probably) you right as I finished playing--I had missed the second 'i' in your name until then.

Mine is gnomersy on steam--you commented on my load times
It runs fine once loaded, but. . .yea.

I only had time for about 3 games last night and have only played my Tyrant since the update--I have not unlocked any of the new ones yet.

Mn, so far I've found I prefer plasma guard (plasmagun, any armor but black plate, bombardment, commissar, sergeant, guardsmen), high damage melee (inspiring sword, black plate, bombardment, damage badge, duelist's badge, stormtroopers), survivable melee (defensive sword, black plate, bombardment, armor badge, duelist's badge, stormtroopers).

Sniper guard is more popular than any of these, but I hate playing it...

My IG is only level 7 (I think) so he pretty much has to be a sniper.

My Tyrant I vary depending on the map. Making it an uber-tank (genestealers+bio-feedback+toxic miasma+regen talons+explosive minions+synapse) makes wave 16 of the collusium a royal pain.

Not an uncommon build at all.

Got to wave 20 with in on the avil twice last night though.
I actually beat the collusiumlike that last night too.

I am curious about the suppression barbed strangler though.
I think I would prefer that + bio plasma (leave the rest basically) and playing more support.

The space marine gear is average, the Claw is by far the best there, the hammer is a bit sucky, knockback and little damage in comparison so it's a bit meh.

Barbed strangler with ignite and +30% damage items is horrific against infantry, I was blowing away squads of cultists in 1-2 shots, it really isnt bad against armor either with its reasonable rate of fire.

The zzap knife is about three to four times better than the choppa. It's just that good. Sure you have to put up with the OCCASIONAL annoyance due to its teleporting weirdness, but the DPS is still insane and you can even teleport walkers this way.

The hammer is more useful on anvil of khorne, stunning vehicles and all that.
