Chrome is telling me to stay the hell away even from the thread here on Dakka about GW going to Resin from Metal that links to Warseer.

I say we "internet-quarantine" it and just not go there for at least a week. Then we sacrifice some dude with <100 posts to check it out.

That could well result in a large influx of new members on Dakka.. "annihilated forum, or fully-working forum that everyone loves?"

I just hope they don't bring any trolls.. Dakka is one of the best communities on the internet - even its standard Theme is cheerful, unlike other forums that use grimdark colours like red and black.

edit: speaking of that, maybe we should have the option of a Warseer-esque Theme, in tribute to the forum that could be facing death? It'd be a nice sentiment, and any new members from Warseer could pretend that their favorite internet garage hadn't just got virus-stomped.

The. Problem. Is. Fixed. Google has continued to visit the site since the infection, and it's been at least three visits since there was anything to be worried about:

The last time Google visited this site was on 2011-04-03, and the last time suspicious content was found on this site was on 2011-04-02.

The only problem that still exists is that Google's Safe Browsing diagnostic is still flagging the site as "suspicious", even though its visits have been coming up clean.

Supposedly, there are THREE dakkas. And they are all in different countries. Dakka should be safe. And if it is hacked, I wouldnt be surprised if we all didnt get a PSA saying so and dakka being fixed within the week.

And if one of the warseer people got pissed and hacked Warseer, they coming here could do the same if they don't like the way they got replied to. This is the kind of thing a mean spirited, selfish "kid" would do.

Yes, but all internets within three inches would also be destroyed - nothing survives an internet weiner stampede.

While the bitching on warseer makes me want to stab myself, their paint sections are split up better. There you don't have to sift through a billion 40k logs just to find a fantasy one.

There's no good TK rumors anyway.
