Belial for making termies troops in your DA army.

Mephiston for the most dangerous single character in the game.

Honestly none of the Tau named characters is worth taking. Shadowsun is pretty decent, but doesn't add anything to the army. Aun'va is an overpriced ethereal, which isn't worth taking anyway. Farsight is debatable, however he limits the army choices so much, he makes it difficult to build an effective list. Though he can take 7 bodyguard suits. Talk about a deathstar.

My vote would be for Shadowsun, but thats only cause I have to vote for one of them.

Only 2 codexes I've looked at in very great detail.

I'd have to say it would be Duke Scliscus for DE because of the bonus poison/combat drugs/deep striking Raiders.

Kabal of the Void Dominator - now with more purple!

But IMO better than the Inquisitor Karamazov in the book.

You've got to learn how to use her. I've killed Abaddon in close combat with her. Granted it was Abaddon alone versus her and a pack of Seraphim. Of course in the shooting phase I gunned down every terminator he had screening him (flamers are fun). She's quite flexible in what she can do.

Technically there's one per Crusade, so it's not a specific marine at all times. Oh how I wish GW would give us a "Sigismundinor"...

Technically again, there is one per fighting company.

"Each Crusade nominally has an Emperor's Champion, but in practise there is actually one for every Fighting Company." BT Codex pg. 15. I guess that means that we're both right! o,0

For thirteen years I had a dog with fur the darkest black. For thirteen years he was my friend, oh how I want him back.

Lmao. You think one lucky kill makes her good? I've seen Tau Fire Warriors get lucky and kill of Daemon Princes.

For her points, St. Celestine is mediocre.

She's not Eternal and if she dies you're going to lose a lot of FP.
Her WS is too low to go toe to toe with most enemy SCs.

Her only advantage over a JP Canoness is that she has Hit and Run and can move 6" every assault phase.

Better saves than a Terminator, a flamer, S5 in CC, jump infantry, really, really difficult to kill. WS isn't that important, WS3 is still a 4+ until it's against WS8.

And for 130 you can have a s6 Canoness with 2d6 pen against vehicles, a 2+ armor save, BoSL (which is much better than Fearless), and ignores the first ID wound. No reason to take a Rosarius, just use FP for a +2 invul. And if this flying chainfist dies you get Faith Points instead of losing them.
