Yep, BR is correct on the RAW. However it is about as sour a taste as passengers firing from a smoked vehicle. However that took an edition and a half for GW to FAQ....

More often than not you will cause a PROFANITY IS NOT ALLOWED ON THIS FORUM with this argument, OP.

Ask yourself this: How far do you want to bend the rules to win in a toy soldier game?

Yup, but GW put out the FAQ that allows you to pop smoke during your Scout move.

I haven't found a GW FAQ that says you can pop smoke during or after a scout move.
What I did find was this;

Q: Can smoke launchers be used after a walker makes a
Run! or consolidation move? (p62)
A: No, they can only be used in the Movement phase.

Now granted, it states walkers, but the answer says that smoke launchers can only be used in the Movement phase.
Scout moves happen at the end of deployment "...but before the first player begins his first turn..." (BRB page 76).
Since the turn hasn't started, neither player is in his Movement phase so the smoke launchers could not be used during a scout move.

Guys come on, how is this even an argument. Ramses has been in the money from post 1 and the rules aren't even ambiguous.

It makes perfect sense and I for one would have no problem allowing this, or doing it myself.

Okay, so Baal Predators can.
That means any other vehicle can as well?

Yes, as it was a clarification, not a rules change.
