Yes that was a rule. It was was because commissars attached to catachan regiments had a much higher rate of "accidents" than others.

That is priceless! Shows that in SOME cases fluff is integrated into rules....

That is priceless! Shows that in SOME cases fluff is integrated into rules....


I would like to see a fluff in rules like:

"Roll a 2D6 when using Assault Space Marine, if you get double 1 - Assault Marine will charge into the Ork maw and all Orks that he hit will be thrown away around him."

Right, the Commissar, unlike the Inquisitor, is going to be under a LOT of scrutiny if they do this. Declaring martial law isn't something done lightly.

At the mid-point of any match with a Tau player, the Tau player can decide to withdraw from the board and play again in a day or two.
