"magnets" Yes. The legs have round pegs that fit deep into the hull slots, so you can easily use magnets to hold them in place. The same goes with the weapons on all mechs, as you can use magnets to swap out the various guns, bazooka's etc on the Early, and the weapons pods, arms on the Valkyrie.

The last week was fun for me, my Victory Decision ruleset started quite well.
I still found some time to continue work on the 28mm Gears.

Shown is the 1st German walker: a Walküre Ausführung B in tracked mode.
Crewman is from an old Chieftain kit (maybe sculpted by Mike Owen), the MG-34 is also Chieftain. All the rest is right from of the Company B prototype pre-cast.

Wow! Just wow!

Quick question, sorry if it's been answered already but what are the modeling options? Can they be assembled in either tank or guardian mode? Or do you have to order seperate models?

Or, dare I hope, can they actually transform?

Just another pic.

http://www.adpublishing.de/html/gears_and_guts_.html

The model is a PzKpf V Ausführung E - In Service:1942
The Ausführung E was Ausführung B chassis with the arms and weapons removed to fit twin artillery rocket launchers. This variant was built in very small numbers.
The model was build using the twin rocket launcher from Company Bs German Weapons Set.

These models look interesting, and it will be interesting to see how this compares to DUST Warfare.

I didn't mean in terms of the miniatures, but in terms of Game-play! Obviously DUST Warfare isn't available yet to test, so it will be interesting to see how they compare.

Personally, I like the finish of the DUST walkers better then the Gear Krieg ones, my guess is that the GK ones are designed and sculpted in the traditional manner while DUST makes use of the 3D CAD....and it's the use of the CAD which gives the models a more polished look, the straight lines are straight, and the panels look flat where they should be flat...

Well you can check the Victory Decision rules here: http://www.adpublishing.de/html/downloads1.html
A dedicated Gear Krieg Supplement is in the works. The good thing with Victory decisison GK is, that you have all the historical lists that can be used together with the walkers while DUST will probably be limited to the weird war stuff...

Or try the World at War version: http://www.adpublishing.de/html/gear_krieg.html

As far as the models are concerned Company B is using a combination of 3D CAD and conventional sculpting.
The models I painted are lower quality prototypes sometimes right from the CAD printer...
