I played Dualwing at the tournament and usually play pure or heavy deathwing, and this year's comp is a ton more DW friendly than past years (Last year the highest I could score was a 35 out of 40). Placed 9th and fought against the other Deathwing list at the tournament that placed 2nd in the last round. Both of us had perfect comp. So yeah, Deathwing can be pretty strong within the comp system used this year.

Reece mentioned that as well, although if the requirement is to only take 3 of any one troops choice,then playing Pure Deathwing, you only get 3 troop terminator squads. That's kinda crummy if you're playing pure Deathwing is all.

That's what made me decide to go Dual-Wing in the higher points values.

Though according to the other Deathwing player, the deathwing command squad counts as a different unit, so if that's the case then you get 4 units of troops (plus up to 2 elites) without taking a comp hit.
