In 3rd edition, the only time you took leadership modifiers, was if you were outnumbered, or below half strength. I'd like to see those as the ONLY ld modifiers, and then retain the Sweeping advance Mechanism as it is.


4th edition.

And it sucked, horribly. I dont want huge, long drawn out combats where leadership is essentially meaningless, as generally they only ended when one side was dead.

I did like the poster complaining about herp derp rules when they arent even playing the actual rules in the rulebook, but something else entirely....

Seriously though: I predict an even greater influx of special characters. Perhaps mandatory, or hugely restrictive without them, to run certain lists. You can't use Heavy Support without X, or only have one Fast Attack without Y.


i'm confused, just who are these mysterious X and Y?

The new Necron special characters. One's a fastidious neat freak, the others a happy-go-lucky slob. And they're living in the same Monolith!! Wacky shenanigans and zany fun abounds!

1. The Tau Codex is delayed for six more years, bringing it into line with the old Dark Eldar.
2. Chainswords become rending, because Marines REALLY need the boost (sarcasm). Eldar Scorpion Chainswords are unaffected, of course.
3. Flyers become ridiculously powerful, but GW only releases plastics for IoM. Xenos flyers are still ridiculous FW models only.
4. A 25% price increase is built into the rule book every six months. So the price increases actually become RAW.
5. LoS is redone, but not fixed.
6. The starter set will come with two sets of Spesse Mehrens(TM), and your choice of two paint pots (Choice of Blood Red, Ultra Blue, Wolf(?) Blue, Knight Grey, Crusader Black, or Dark Green).
7. All models will immediately be recast in Finecost Resin, so that they too can be the best miniatures the world has ever seen!
8. Rules will allow models without weapons to be played, so that people can better experiment will changing wargear mid-battle. Except for the Eldar who still must be, RAW, WYSIWYG.
