I guess then, that it is a possibility that all the Primarchs were placed on their respective planets for a reason. I know we have the dream sequence where we see the traitors and the Lion, but what of the loyalist ones? Were they laid to rest by Chaos too or were they not concerned with them?
If the War is all time and no time then the Chaos Gods would probably have known which ones would turn traitor and which would remain loyal. The Lion being a bit of an iffy Primarch.
I get the distinct feeling that the Chaos gods have limited time and limited decision making when they grabbed the pods and flung them around... so yeah, Lorgar, Angron, Curze and a few others seem to be ideally placed... others seem to have been random, and a few seem like they were almost orchestrated by the Emperor (Russ, Guilliman, Dorn, Khan).

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.
Excerpt from "Seeress of Kell", Book Five of The Malloreon series by David Eddings.

Ah, yes. So that's why the Porn Berserkers are so angry. They thing someone stole their videos.

Arguing with some people is like playing chess with a pigeon. You can play the best chess in the world, but at the end of the day the pigeon will still knock all the pieces off the board and then gak all over it. |
