2) How did you get that metal effect? I love it

The old metal effcet is dead easy to do.

1) Spray Black
2) HEAVY drybrush of Tin Bitz
3) selective drybrush/stipple of Dark Flesh (just in the arears where you want the rust to be)
4) lightly drybrush the Dark Flesh areas in Blazing orange.


Done.

The model (not including the psyker) took, maybe 1.5 - 2 hours to paint.

What happened to the wires/ glass tube?

I decided the glass tube was a#) beyond my ability t pull off well. and b) too expensive and time consuming.



I was goign to use soem wires but thought that the pose of the model kind of made it look liek he was channeling the power of his own free will, rather than having to be restrained. I was plannign on doing some guitar wire pipes and stuff but ran otu of time before the game. I'm still happy with how it turned out.
