Plenty of room. What with negotiating the move to a bigger and store, I was a bit scattered in getting all the info out. Head over to the store website, Showcasecomicsandgames.net and you can register by clicking on 'Event Registration' on the left hand bar.

Looks like it'll be a great time, just like in January! I don't think I'll be signing up for any of the proper tournies per se, but I'll definitely be there with my 1250-1500pt Orks, 500pt LM, and whatever Cryx models I've got on me by that time, so I'll be ready to play with whoever wants a pickup game.

I'll be there with my warriors of chaos for fantasy, built to the tourney specs but not competing in tourney as i don't know the rules of fantasy well enough.

I'll also have my Orks and my BFG imperial navy, I'll write up some army lists for both and will be available for a battle with you if you like. I've never fought orks with my orks!

Ill be more than likely to be doing the friday night tournament.

Philly is close enough that I want to get up to your store at least once but I am building a wall that weekend :( (a real wall made out of stones)

I will need to hit the next big 40k event you have up in philly.

Happy to report that the new store has excellant AC. We've been cranking it a bit while we do construction. It was made to keep a store cool with 160 spotlights, the old kind that throw off a lot of heat. We swapped them out for energy efficient bulbs with more light and no heat. The store gets nice and chilly.

Ah, excellent! Nothing worse than a hot gamer soup late in a gaming day... experienced this first hand most recently at the GW Bowie Bunker on opening day. Higher-ups were there and not happy, so I believe it was fixed in less than 2 days- but good AC makes for good gaming, imho

We're pushing 14+ hours a day for the last week working on the new store. It's going to be great to kick it off with a bunch of gaming! So tired of painting and putting up slatwall! I need to roll Dice!

Also there Friday mid-afternoon, likely doing some BFG or even 2500 fantasy ... Settlers could be way cool, playing that earlier next week with some non-gamer peeps from my department, so I might be back up to speed

I should be there Friday by around 3-4 as well, and I'll be bringing my roughly 25pts of Warmachine to get some start games in for anyone that wants to play. : D

I'll also have my Orks, but they'll be mostly for Sat/Sun, and I'm hoping to play a bit more WarmaHordes than 40k over the weekend. I'm rather excited to start playing!

Mrs S and i are heading down early Friday to get there for mid Friday. We will be there Fri, Sat and Sun (we're also there Monday, but visiting the sites).

I am going to have a full sector fleet of BFG Imperial Navy with me, plus my Orks up to about 4k, plus a WHFB army (built to the Comp specs but won't be entering as I'm not proficient with the rules).

Mrs S is bringing her Nids but has not yet played a full game, so will be either having tutorial games or painting etc.

I might have to sneak over and take a peek at that BFG fleet while you're playing, MGS - I was kind of interested in it around the time of the last DakkaCon, but I missed out of seeing a game take place.

That's because a certain someone failed to bring a scratch built tyranid fleet with him last time...

So happy to see you guys getting in early, because I'm going to need a lot of beer!

Having one now as a matter of fact, but it's "Medicinal". Strained some ligaments in my back with all the heavy lifting getting the new store ready, must have slept wrong, and work up unable to walk! I blame my Chiorpractor that cancelled the Thursday appointment and is off on vacation. From experience, I know I have to take 3 asperin, and slowly stretch it out. I'm sort of impatient so I limped up to the computer, and I'm going to see if two Yuenglings for breakfast speeds the process of relaxing things. First one made me feel better, so I'm going for a second.

Sent out a newsletter reminding the locals about the new store and Dakkacon, and I'm planning my menu for the weekend. So far I'm thinking Chili, Blackbean and Sauage Gumbo, Smoked Chicken, and Chili Dogs. But I'm remembering how good the meat was at a wedding I went to in my home town a few years ago. Were I come from, weddings are huge events centered around the Barbeque, and the groom is wearing white levis and a white cowboy hat.) They cooked up sirloin tri tip on the grill, sliced it thin and kept it warm in huge pots. I have the marinade and rub they used, a new grill, and an urge to cook up a batch.

I think that MGS should be in charge of making sure I get my 'medicine' all weekend. After moving the store, and cooking all week, I'm going to need it.

Wow, sorry to hear about the back Mike... get some well-earned rest this weekend!

I'd also love to see some BFG! And I will have the nids bits with me if anyone wants to have a crack at some conversions . Will try to make up a little sign or something for it, too. I figure it's getting donated back to the store anyway (since the "store" donated it to me first!) so I'll see what/where Mike wants it

I think it would be very cool (and possibly also useful) if you or someone else has the pictures of the various classes of tyranid ship available, or folks will be making hundreds of ships with no viable tabletop use. I think a massive fleet of individualised but usable ships would be far cooler!

I want a BFG game, if only just one. I know Salvage was up for some.

Just stopped by today, the new store is looking great! I'll see if I can come by for the FNF, but I'll definitely be there on Tuesday for the opening!

Well, I've played 5 games in total, none in the last 6 months!

Lets go 2k, I think battleships are great in BFG.
