I and two friends will be getting in late on Friday and will be there on Sat and Sunday for the Lowhammer tourney and for whatever else. Any idea on how many players for the Lowhammer tourney?

Using my very large, alcohol enhanced brain (Al just showed up with cases of Yuengling and some mexican stuff, relaxing after a 110 hour week moving the store), I can say that I expect about 24 +/- 12, with a confidence rating of about 50%.

Having the leasing agent for the mall, the local township building inspector, and the phone company all get together and work to delay the move of the store has me running crazy. It was literally about 10 days of 16-21 hours a day, for me and most of my employees.

But it's 90% done, scenery is getting set up for tomorrow night, I'm working on rules packs and scoring sheets tonite while make the chile and gumbo, and marinading the London Broil. Tomorrow morning I'll get up early for the sale on italian sausages and get them cooked up for Saturday lunch.

I've got a bunch of folks pre-registered, several clubs coming with multiple people, and lots of various "Think I'm coming" emails. I think overall we aren't looking at a huge group, but it's going to be a lot of fun. I'm excited about playing until the wee hours and getting in some pick up games myself after running the main event.

Just spent 2 hours with my buddy Al, down in the kitchen shopping onions and drinking beer. Black Beans and Sausage is cooking up now, and we decided that it was time to grill steaks. So at 1am we through the London Broil on and got that part of lunch cooked up. Going to slice it up for sammiches on Sunday.

I'll be on my way in the next hour or so - hoping to get down there by 6-ish at the latest!

Although I might wind up having to wait for a bit - that big storm system just started to roll in, so I'm gonna wait till that passes.

EDIT: Aaaaand it looks like I might not make it down today. >: LAME. I will be there all day tomorrow, however, so I'll see everyone there!

We'll save you a chili dog...it's the black one at the bottome of the pot.....)

I finished middle of the pack and had a fantastic time. Boss Salvage was in 1st place after day 1 but couldn't pull it out on day 2. Wehrkind was a cool guy to room with, provided massive amounts of peanut brittle and had a sweeeeet looking army

The two best painted winning armies looked absolutely incredible, as well! High elves and dwarfs... the high elves of which beat my army in a game that swung really hard in the last 2 turns!

I did pull out a minor loss against one of the winners (Corey)... he played Really well in our game and in the others I peaked at, and I thought all the top players deserved the win (and it was nice to evenly split the prize between the top 3, who were so close).

Salvage also played against all 3 of them, although only got a win against Josh...

Great time and I look forward to playing many of you again at future Northeastern tournaments

I also had a great time, all five of my games were against real nice guys, good fights all around. Really looking forward to playing at Crossroads against those of you who make it up to that tourney.

Although not in the tourney, Mrs S and I had a great time gaming and hanging out with fellow geeks, we'd like to say a big thank you to Mike for being such a great host!

Had tons of fun I can't wait till next year to play again!!!

The rules were great, taking out the big spells got rid of all the lame people that just take a life caster and try to dwellers people all day long.

Keep these tournaments coming.

Was only able to get down for Saturday, but I had a fantastic time with everyone, especially when we got around to playing the Horus Heresy game that Kid_Kyoto brought along. Tons of fun, and I would absolutely love to be able to play that again.

I enjoyed Skarbrand's diaries a lot.
