There's plenty of non-cancer diseases that are provably caused by smoking tobacco.

So even if you can argue that the evidence for linking smoking with cancer is specious (which would be somewhat amusing if you tried), it's still not at the same level.

I also knew about this years ago. Don't ask me how this is on the news now, but my GI doctor knew about this in 2008.

Talk about mobiles giving you cancer has been around as long as they have. It was not then, and is not now, proven fact.
