Not entirely sure its in the same vein as the films you guys are listing, but 'United 93' got my adrenalin pumping so hard at the end i had to go for a 2 hour walk to calm down. Dont think ive ever been that pumped :S

Spoiler:
the bit at the end when they are preparing to attack the hijackers using weapons of opportunity.... seriously, all i could do was imagine myself there, after ringing my loved ones, finding something i can use as a weapon, and then charging forwards....still pumps me up 2 years later

Fixed that for ya....
Haven't seen that film in a VERY long time..... Kinda lived it for a while too.

As did I..
New Orleans used to be sprinkled with "squat houses" that a lot of the Punk/Hardcore scene used .

EDIT:...Of course we didn't have wild dog packs running around outside.

We WERE the wild dog pack. Used to love the fridge/freezer in the open garage places ..... MMMM steak and beer.

Of all the races of the universe the Squats have the longest memories and the shortest tempers. They are uncouth, unpredictably violent, and frequently drunk. Overall, I'm glad they're on our side!

I second that. Wrestler was full of old washed up wrestler atmosphere.
